My name is Karen and I’m a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Willmar. How I happen to be here has been a process of spiritual discovery, starting as a teenager when I began my search for a religion that I could believe in and ascribe to rather than one that I couldn’t seem to swallow. I’ve attended many churches throughout the years and found a lot of good in each one, yet they seemed to come to an impasse for me until I found Unitarianism. I feel like I’m on an honest spiritual journey now, one that I can learn and grow from. No one is telling me what I have to believe in and I’m free to search and discover what suits me best. I do this on my own as well but I also like the fellowship I’ve found with other UUs. I enjoy the people that are on their own spiritual journeys and look forward to our times together.
