Many years ago, I don’t know exactly when, I read a booklet describing different religious denominations. When reading about Unitarian Universalism, I thought, “That’s me, that’s what I believe.” At that time, and in the many places I have lived since, there was no opportunity for me to attend a UU church or further explore that option. Besides, my place as church organist kept me continuing in a Christian church throughout my adult years. The move to Willmar, MN in 2001 and finding a UU church here seemed a relief and a blessing. After a few years of attending UUCW, it truly fit me and resolved my discomfort in other settings. Thus, I became a member in May, 2008. It is indeed a pleasure to be here.
